What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, virontechnologies.com. It does not cover our software products, such as FleetDesk, which have their own terms and privacy information within the product.

Information we collect

When you send a project inquiry

Through the Contact form we collect:

• your name and business email address;
• your company name, if you choose to give it;
• the service you are interested in and the project details you write;
• the date and time you agreed to us using your details to respond.

When you subscribe for updates

Through the newsletter form we collect your email address and the date and time you subscribed. Every update we send includes a personal link to unsubscribe.

Technical information

To protect the site from abuse, we process your IP address to limit repeated submissions. Where we keep a record linked to a submission or a security event, we store a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address rather than the address itself. Our servers may also keep standard technical logs.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.

How we use it

• To read and respond to your inquiry, and to follow up about the project you describe.
• To send you updates you have subscribed to.
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and investigate misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Cookies

This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work:

• Session cookie: keeps the site working while you browse and submit forms. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Security (CSRF) cookie: protects forms from being submitted by other websites.

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising.

Who we share it with

We host this website and its database on servers we manage ourselves; we do not use a third-party hosting provider. We share personal information only with these service providers:

• Brevo, which delivers inquiry notification emails to our team;
• the email service we use to send updates, which receives your email address only to deliver them;
• Cloudflare, whose Turnstile service checks that form submissions come from people, not bots.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

How long we keep it

• Project inquiries are deleted automatically 180 days after they are received, unless we have started working with you.
• Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. When you do, your email address is deleted, not just marked as unsubscribed.
• Security logs are kept for up to 30 days.

How we protect it

The website is served over encrypted connections, sessions are encrypted, and access to stored information is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any update we send. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
